Letters from prison
The book of Frei Betto, an icon of resistance and struggle against the military dictatorship in Brazil, is a collection of letters he wrote when he was a political prisoner (1969-73). The cover art shows a gloomy picture of a stencil painting into a cracked wall, representing the tough times lived by the author. The vibrant and striking blue color works as a aesthetic counterpoint that exalt his struggle.
