Kind of Blue
Miles Davis broke the paradigms of jazz by releasing the album Kind of Blue in 1959. author richard williams recounts the origins and legacy of the album that influenced not only jazz, but all modern music. The cover seeks to express the melancholy of the album by using an intimate picture while the smoke draws shades of blue over the book’s title.
