A Korean War veteran refuses to return to his home town to find his sister. She, in turn, tries to survive unprotected in a oppressive reality of chauvinism and violence against women. Their only chance of a future with tenderness is to meet each other on the way back home. The image chosen for the cover symbolises a loving moment of the brothers’ childhood. The detail of the circular letters in gold seeks to enhance their trajectory of reunion.
